Sweet and Sour Carrots

Plantify, Plantify, Plantify is what Denisine Nolan keeps reminding herself and see what she came up with – Sweet and Sour Carrots! A delicacy for sure.


  1. Dice the carrots into circular size bites. Boil them in water until tender. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  2. In a saucepan combine all the ingredients and bring them to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer them for 20 minutes.
  3.  Add drained diced carrots
  4.  Bottle while hot.
  5. You can serve on a bed of rice or noodles. Enjoy!

PS: For tomato soup, if you cannot find the one that meets your nutritional guideline, it’s better to make your own by combining tomato paste (no salt added), diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, water and soy milk and boiling it for 20 minutes.


2 pounds of carrots diced
1/2 cup of vinegar
1 can of tomato soup (no salt, no sugar added)
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of GOH applesauce
1 teaspoon of mustard
1 tablespoon of Worchester sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
