Description

Steel cuts oats is one of our favorite breakfast. They are nuttier and chewier than other types of oats. They take a longer time to cook. We usually cook them in a rice cooker. Alternatively, you can cook them on the stove-top as. Use three cups of water for one cup of steel cut oats if you choose to cook them on stove-top.

Once the oats in are cooked, add all ingredients to make the porridge.

If you like to make it sweeter add a spoon of maple syrup, or more mashed bananas, or more raisins.

Ingredients

1 cups of cooked steel cut oats
One tablespoon of chia seeds
One tablespoon of flax seed powder
One banana sliced
Strawberries
One apple
Sliced almonds
Blueberries
1 and half of non-dairy milk (almond milk or soy milk)
Raisins
