Method:
To prepare the meatballs
Once done you can either use them immediately or store/freeze them for future use. I usually prepare a big batch and store them.
To prepare the sauce:
1. Combine all the ingredients listed under sauce and heat on the stovetop for a few minutes.
2. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and bake for 45 min at 350°F.
Tips:
You can double the recipe for Marinara sauce if you are using/serving all of the meatballs.
For the Meatballs: |
4 1/2 cups of rolled oats |
1/2 cup of soy sauce |
1/4 cup of nutritional yeast |
1 teaspoon of onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning |
4 1/2 cups of water |
For the Marinara sauce: |
1 cup of ketchup |
1/2 cup of brown sugar |
1 teaspoon of chili powder |
1 teaspoon of onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon of liquid smoke |
1/2 cup of water |
