Waffles….who would say no to it.
It’s an absolute favourite in our household. Here’s a recipe where you can make it without dairy, butter, eggs or oil.
We use Cuisinart Griddler that comes with waffle plates to make them. Earlier we used to have Silicone waffle mould that could be baked in the oven but now we mostly rely on the waffle plates.
We use our waffle mix to make the waffles. CLICK HERE for the recipe of waffle mix. It is quick and easy to make.
In a mixing bowl, whisk all the ingredients until combined well. Let the batter sit aside for 7-10 minutes while the oven/griddler is preheated.
Variations: There are a lot of options/varieties that you can try. You can either make plain waffles or blueberry waffles or chocolate chip or pecan or savoury or parsley waffles (yep you heard that right).
Using Waffle Plates:
Using the Silicone mould:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Pour the batter into the waffle mould just enough to cover the silicone projections. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 mins. Remove it from the oven. Let it cool for 3-4 mins. Place the mould upside down to peel the waffles off.
Serve with fresh fruit and banana syrup or maple syrup (optional)
