This is one of our favorite dips. It can be served with baked pita chips or raw vegetables. It also makes a delicious sandwich spread.
Method:
Put all the ingredients in a blender or a food processor and blend until smooth.
| 14 ounce can of chickpeas (no salt added), rinsed and drained |
| 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice |
| 1/2 cup of roasted red peppers |
| 1 medium clove of garlic or 1/2 teaspoon of chopped garlic |
| 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt as per your taste |
| 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder (optional) |
| pinch of cayenne pepper (optional) |
