This is one of our favorite dips. It can be served with baked pita chips or raw vegetables. It also makes a delicious sandwich spread.
Put all the ingredients in a blender or a food processor and blend until smooth.
|14 ounce can of chickpeas (no salt added), rinsed and drained|
|2 Tablespoons of lemon juice|
|1/2 cup of roasted red peppers|
|1 medium clove of garlic or 1/2 teaspoon of chopped garlic|
|1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt as per your taste|
|1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder (optional)|
|pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)|
