| 1 large yellow onion |
| Batter: |
| 2/3 cup of brown rice flour |
| 2/3 cup of soy milk (or any plant-based milk) |
| 1 teaspoon of garlic powder |
| 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika |
| 1 teaspoon of savoury |
| Pinch of salt |
| For the coating: |
| 1 cup of whole wheat breadcrumbs or panko breadcrumbs |
| 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika |
| 1/4 teaspoon of salt |
