Oftentimes, I find store-bought granola is too sweet or has oil. Kim Slaney makes her own granola and brings this as a snack to our support group meetings. Guess what? We were all hooked. This recipe is the best. It is very simple to make and can be used as a breakfast item, or snack.
Method
| Dry Ingredients: |
| 2 1/2 cups of ats |
| 1/3 cup of buckwheat flour |
| 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds |
| 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds |
| 1/4 cup of slivered almonds |
| 1/4 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut |
| 1 tablespoon of cinnamon |
| 1/4 teaspoon of salt |
| Wet Ingredients: |
| 2 tablespoons of unsweetened apple sauce |
| 1/3 cup of honey |
