Delicious French toast is one of our favorite morning meals. It is egg free, oil free and dairy free.
Method:
Blend all the ingredients except bread in a high-powered blender to make the batter. Let the batter sit for 5-10 minutes. Dip the bread slices in the batter for a second. Cook the dipped bread on a non-stick pan for 40 – 50 seconds on each side on medium heat. No need to use any oil or spray to cook them.

| Six whole grain or multi-grain bread slices |
| Ten regular dates or 4 Medjool dates |
| 1 ounce of almonds |
| One Tablespoon flax seed powder |
| One teaspoon vanilla extract |
| 1 ounce of rolled oats |
| 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon or pumpkin spice |
| tiny pinch of turmeric |
| 1 and 1/4 cup almond milk or soy milk |
