Description

What is Valentine’s day without chocolate!!!

Here’s a recipe to indulge your taste buds and your loved ones on this day (or any special occasion),  without breaking their hearts. And we mean it….Heart Healthy!

Are you ready for delicious egg-free, butter-free, oil-free and dairy-free. Chocolate French Toast.

Method:

French Toast

  1. Blend all the ingredients listed under batter in a high-powered blender.
  2. Transfer the batter to a wide flat bowl. The batter is runny at the beginning. and it thickens at the end.
  3. Heat the pan in medium heat. The key is to toast the bread in medium heat and not let it burn
  4.  Dip the bread slices in the batter until it is completely coated.
  5. Place the first coated slice on the pan. Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top. Place the second slice on top of chocolate coated slice. No need to use any oil or spray to cook them.
  6. Let it toast on medium heat for 40 – 50 seconds on each side.
  7. Slit the banana into half and place them on the pan. Let it carmelize
  8. Turn off the stove once done

To prepare Icecream:

Take 2 frozen bananas and run them through the desert bullet or yonanas machine or blend them in Vitamix.

Plating:

Place a scoop of icecream on the plate. Now place the caramelized banana on top of the icecream. Drizzle some nuts over it. Place the french toast on top of it and serve.

You can garnish with toppings of your choice.

You will be able to taste the warm flavors along with cold, crispy and nutty crunch which I think is heavenly!!!

Enjoy
