What is Valentine’s day without chocolate!!!
Here’s a recipe to indulge your taste buds and your loved ones on this day (or any special occasion), without breaking their hearts. And we mean it….Heart Healthy!
Are you ready for delicious egg-free, butter-free, oil-free and dairy-free. Chocolate French Toast.
Take 2 frozen bananas and run them through the desert bullet or yonanas machine or blend them in Vitamix.
Place a scoop of icecream on the plate. Now place the caramelized banana on top of the icecream. Drizzle some nuts over it. Place the french toast on top of it and serve.
You can garnish with toppings of your choice.
You will be able to taste the warm flavors along with cold, crispy and nutty crunch which I think is heavenly!!!

Six whole grain or multi-grain bread slices |
For Batter: |
1 cup almond milk or soy milk |
1 Medjool date |
1 Tablespoon flax seed powder |
1 Tablespoon rolled oats |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon or pumpkin spice |
tiny pinch of turmeric (optional) |
Toppings: |
2 Tablespoons dairy free chocolate chips |
1 Banana |
1 Brazil nut (or nut of your choice) |
To make Icecream: |
2 Frozen Bananas |
