We can make Chips in minutes using whole wheat Pitas or Tortillas.


Pita Chips:

  1. Choose whole-wheat pitas with no added oil, sugar or other preservatives. Locally we get Compliment brand Pita bread meeting these criteria
  2. Preheat oven for 350F
  3. Using a Pizza cutter, cut the pitas in triangle shape pieces
  4. Arrange them on a Baking tray or silicon mat or parchment paper
  5. Bake for 5-8mins depending on your oven until they turn crispy brown
  6. Let them cool for a minute and Enjoy!!!

Tortilla chips:

You can follow the same procedure above using whole wheat tortillas

Cinnamon Pita/Tortilla Chips:

Now comes the fun part. Coat your Pita/Tortillas with teaspoon of water. Then drizzle the cinnamon mix onto the Pita/Tortillas and cut them into triangles  Bake at 350 for 5-8 mins depending on your oven.

Other Flavorings:

You can add flavourings of your choice such as barbeque, vinegar/sour, hickory smoke/bacon to tantalize your taste buds. Bottomline you can enjoy any flavor that you crave for.

3 teaspoons water
Cinnamon Mix:
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
Barbeque Mix:
1Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
