Description

Kids love milkshakes. However, store-bought shakes are rich in saturated fat, additives, food colouring and various other chemicals that are so detrimental for our kids.

This luscious delicious creamy milkshake is chockful of nutrients and can appease any fussy kid.

This is our teenager son’s favourite drink and he enjoys this after a hard game of basketball or soccer.

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in the Vitamix or a blender and blend it until smooth. There should be no lumps of strawberry or dates left.
  2. Pour into 2 glasses. Garnish with a fresh strawberry and sliced almonds on top.

Ingredients

10 frozen strawberries, thawed
2 cups of Silk Soy milk original
10-15 cashews
3 Medjool dates pitted
2 tablespoons of sugar or 1 banana
1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or rose water
Garnishing:
Fresh strawberry
Sliced almonds
