This is a very spicy dish and a delicacy from South Indian cuisine.
Method:
3 cups of cucumber, diced |
2 tomatoes, chopped |
4 green chilies |
1 teaspoon of tamarind paste |
1 teaspoon of coriander powder |
8-10 curry leaves |
1/2 teaspoon of salt |
1 tablespoon of roasted unsalted peanuts |
For Tempering/Seasoning: |
1/4 teaspoon of yellow gram |
1/4 teaspoon of black gram |
1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds |
1/8 teaspoon of asafetida |
1 tablespoon of cilantro, chopped |
