DELICIOUS

Description

Steel Cut Oats is one of our favourite breakfasts. They are nuttier and chewier than other types of oats. They take a longer time to cook. We usually cook them in a rice cooker. Alternatively, you can cook them on the stovetop using three cups of water for one cup of steel cut oats (stovetop directions).

Once the oats are cooked, add the rest of the ingredients to make the porridge.

If you’d like to make it sweeter add a spoon of maple syrup, or more mashed bananas, or more raisins.

Enjoy!

Makes 3 servings.

1 tablespoon of flaxseed powder
