Aloo stuffing for Masala Dosa

Description

Serving size: for 10 dosas

Method:

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes, boil them for 15 mins. Add ½ tsp salt and pinch of turmeric/1/8th tsp of turmeric while they are boiling.  Strain water
  2. Mash the potatoes.
  3. In a pan dry roast mustard seed, Urad dal,  cashew,  curry leaves. Add onions, green chillies, ginger,  roast them for 2mins.
  4. Add salt, turmeric powder and squeeze ½ lemon.
  5. Add mashed aloo, add 3Tbsp of water and mix well. Add cilantro and garam masala mix well and keep it aside.

3 potatoes, boiled
¼ tsp mustard seed
½ tsp Urad dal
10 cashew
10 curry leaves
1 onion finely chopped
3 green chillies
one inch finely chopped ginger
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
½ lemon
1/8tsp garam masala
1Tbsp cilantro
